We have codified our values in a code of conduct based on the 10 principles of the UN Global Compact, which has been signed by OMV. The UN Global Compact (UNGC) covers the following key areas: labor relations, human rights, the environment and anti-corruption.
In our code of conduct we express a clear commitment to corporate social responsibility as understood by the UNGC.
As a rapidly growing, integrated oil and gas company operating in over 25 countries throughout the world, we are aware of our corporate social responsibility and we oblige our employees to align their day-to-day conduct with these values. Our suppliers must also undertake to comply with our code of conduct.
 
The code of conduct contains a large number of obligations of the company towards all stakeholders, most of which are expressed in concrete terms in our Group directives. By stakeholders, we mean everyone who has a justified interest in the company such as employees, neighboring communities, authorities, customers and shareholders.
