The purpose of this position is to maintain all installed equipment in the plant and off-Site locations to achieve planned availability & reliability and provide essential support to Field Manager in achieving production targets. This is a field based position reporting to Field Manager.

MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT - OMV Pakistan
OMV is Austria's largest industrial group, engaged in Oil & Gas Exploration and Production activities in over 20 countries worldwide, OMV (Pakistan) Exploration GmbH, with its head office in Islamabad, is a subsidiary of OMV AG. The Company has an active exploration program in Pakistan in different concession areas. OMV Pakistan is producing gas from its Miano and Sawan fields in districts Sukkur and Khairpur in Sindh.
We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the following positions based at our Islamabad and field locations.

MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT (PERMANENT - FIELD BASED)
The purpose of this position is to maintain all installed equipment in the plant and off-Site locations to achieve planned availability & reliability and provide essential support to Field Manager in achieving production targets. This is a field based position reporting to Field Manager. The work rotational cycle is 14 days on and 14 days off.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Support for all corrective and preventive maintenance of installed and mobile equipment

* Implementation of maintenance plan in efficient and effective manner

* Availability of trained and skilled manpower to implement maintenance plan

* Identify spares, consumables, materials, tools and equipment and other resources required to maintain all installed and mobile equipment

* Identification of training of maintenance manpower to improve their skills

* Identify tasks to be carried out during annual plant maintenance, ensure all concerned are fully involved in planning for annual maintenance

* Prepare annual maintenance budget and monitor all expenses to ensure that maintenance service is provided within approved budget

* Review inventories of spares and consumables regularly and advise warehouse on addition of new items and deletion of redundant items

* Ensure safety of men and equipment

* Provide key input to Field Manager about upgrading, redundancy and replacement of plant machinery, equipment and materials

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
* University degree in engineering (preferably in Mechanical or Electrical and Instrumentation)

* Overall experience of more than fifteen years out of which ten years or more in a supervisory position in maintenance of Oil/Gas or Process industry

* Good knowledge of fields of Inspection, Mechanical, Electrical, Planning, Instrumentation, Controls and Telecommunication Systems with having expertise in either Mechanical or Electrical and Instrumentation

* Fluent in English language and be able to communicate at all levels

* Good interpersonal, supervisory, team building, people development and multiple tasks management skills

* Good analytical, conflict management, crisis resolution and other behavioral competencies

SENIOR INSTRUMENT & CONTROL SYSTEM ENGINEER (PERMANENT - FIELD BASED)

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Lead plant instrument maintenance activities to maximize plant availability so that sales gas volume and quality targets are met

* Identify and arrange spares, Consumables, materials, tools and other resources to maintain all installed Instruments & Systems/equipment

* Plan Organize and execute plant yearly turnaround within budget and planned time

* Prepare and manage instrument, control & telecom system budget to ensure expenses remain in line with business plan

* Increase plant reliability, availability through implementation of CMMS & S-RCM strategies so that business plan objective is met

* Improve quality of instrument, control & telecom system maintenance through in time preventive maintenance of equipment through proper planning with minimum repeat jobs and minimizing breakdown

* Plan & organize training needs analyses and develop instrument maintenance staff to ensure that their competencies and skills are improved

* Prepare, update and review job plans, work instruction and procedures for instrument, control & telecom system maintenance so that up-to-date guidance and procedural coverage is available to all concerned

* Analyze all failures on the plant, establish root cause and take measures to avoid re-occurrence

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

* Minimum of 7 years experience on responsible roles in hydrocarbon processing (fertilizer, oil & gas sector) plant maintenance teams, with responsibility for DCS, ESD systems and field instrumentation including sales gas metering through Flow computers and Gas Chromatography

* Good interpersonal, supervisory, team building, people development and multiple tasks management skills

* Knowledge of international standards i.e. ISA, NEC and IEC etc

* Experience in application of maintenance integrity principles

* Proven configuration and troubleshooting skills on integrated control systems, i.e. DCS & ESD

* Knowledge of HSE Management System, Emergency Response System

SECTION HEAD - CONTRACTS (PERMANENT - HEAD OFFICE BASED)
Undertake Contracts Management with a view to support OMV Pakistan's departmental requirements of works and services by contractors in a timely and cost effective manner, ensuring conformity to Company's E&P Process Description for Global Procurement and local Petroleum Concession Agreements (PCAs), Joint Operations Agreements (JOAs} and the related laws.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Prequalify contractors using questionnaires and appropriate evaluation criteria

* Prepare RFPs including work scopes, commercial forms, Instruction to Tenderers, general and special conditions

* Issue of tenders, administration of tender clarifications, response to tender queries

* Evaluate tenders using technical as well as commercial evaluation criteria,. Lead tender evaluation team, prepare evaluation reports, make recommendations for award to Management and stake holders

* Conduct tender clarification meetings, conduct contract negotiation meetings, prepare contract documents incorporating all the agreed changes and get approval from Management and stake holders

* During the life of contracts, respond to contract interpretation requests, negotiate and recommend variation orders as per the requirement of the work

* Comply with all PCA/JOA requirements

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent, University degree in Management or Finance or Law will be an added advantage

* Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas (Upstream) sector including minimum 5 yrs in a similar capacit

* Should have knowledge of E&P Process Description for Global Procurement and local PC As / JOAs and laws

* Knowledge of latest trends in commercial contract management/procurement

* Excellent negotiation and commercial contract management skills
