MANAGER - QUALITY/ EFFICIENCY DEVELOPMENTResponsible for identifying and supporting potentials for improvement in our product quality by leading and managing the Quality team; and the follow up and maintenance of Production Efficiency projects.
* High customer focus and passion for product quality
* Having 8-10 years of experience in the textile industry with atleast 3 years experience in a leadership position
* Good understanding of Textile production - from spinning to stitching and final dispatching
* Great communication skills, leadership skills and management capabilities together with enthusiasm to face challenges
* The candidate must be aware of customer requirements in a developed global market including Q standards, Safety, Social & Environment and Customer Satisfaction
SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPER / BUSINESS DEVELOPERResponsible to develop IKEA suppliers in order to optimize Price, Quality, Capacity, Delivery service, Social and Environmental responsibility.
* Graduate in Textile Engineering
* For Senior Business Developer position: Having around 8 years' of business development experience with an international organization of which at least 3 years experience is of independently leading the team
* For Business Developer position: Having around 3-5 years of business development experience with an international organization
* Ability to frame and execute strategic and tactical business plans
* Strong negotiation skills, sound knowledge of the market and production conditions in Textiles
* Understanding of the detailed product costing
* Good communication skills in English and local language
ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST & COMPLIANCE AUDITORResponsible to initiate and lead Environmental Projects and Conduct Safety, Environment & Social Audits at IKEA suppliers.
* Engineering background and / or Environment Science graduate (MBA - added advantage)
* 3 to 5 years' experience in implementing Environment, Safety, Social Systems and Auditing with an MNC
* Excellent communication skills in English and local language
* Good knowledge of Environmental Management Systems, Social & Environmental legislations in Pakistan
* Experience in leading Environmental Projects in textile industry
* High level of Commitment, Motivation and Ethical Standards
QUALITY DEVELOPER - SOLID WOODResponsible to secure Product Quality and production efficiency with suppliers and continuously work with improvements in Quality to contribute to IKEA's quality demands with a customer focus.
* 5 to 7 years experience with Engineering or Technical background. (MBA - added advantage) with good knowledge of different production, quality processes and materials like Glass, Wood, Metals
* Relevant experience in Product Quality, Product Development and Project Management
* Good communication skills in English and local language
* Strong knowledge of Quality & Efficiency Management Systems
* Able to audit and analyze suppliers working methods in Quality, Working Conditions and Environmental Performance
* High level of Commitment, Motivation and Ethical Standards
SUPPLY CHAIN SPECIALIST - BMP COTTONThe role holder will be responsible for procurement of BMP cotton by IKEA suppliers. He / She will evolve and implement a procurement strategy that creates a seamless supply chain link between sources of BMP cotton and IKEA suppliers. He / she will also be responsible for ensuring alignment in needs of different stakeholders associated with the BMP cotton project.
* Work experience related to Sale, Purchase & Grading of seed & Lint cotton will be essential
* Work experience with a reputed ginning mill / textile mill will be essential
* Expertise in setting up and running Supply Chains Systems will be essential
* Strong relationships with reputed players associated with Cotton Processing (traders / brokers / ginners / spinners / textile mills) will be essential
* Work experience in a business development / sales focus role will be desirable
* Educational background in Textile Engineering and / or Business Administration will be desirable
* Good communication skills in English and local language
* Candidate must be willing to travel extensively
