PRINCIPAL REQUIRED - Karachi
MIDCITY HIGH SCHOOL
REQUIRED-PRINCIPAL
The Karachi Memon Co-operative Housing Society Ltd is committed to promoting excellence in education at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels and thereby produce future leaders of society with high levels of professional capability interwoven with high ethical and moral standards. For this purpose, the Midcity High School is being established to assure quality in the 'O' and 'A' level stream of education. The school is situated right in the centre of the city off Shaheed-e-Millat road, next to the National College, and offers easy access to students and faculty members from all over the city.
It is planned to begin with the "PRIMARY" section (Class I to V).
Applications are invited for the position of the Principal of the school, from persons with exceptional leadership qualities. He / She will be directly responsible to the Managing Committee. The incumbent should possess the following qualities:
i. A Masters degree in any discipline preferably Education or Social Sciences with a brilliant academic record.
ii. Age not over 50 years with a history of producing outstanding results.
iii. Awareness of latest teaching methodologies with excellent communication skills.
iv. Awareness of learning dysfunctions in children and their treatment.
v. Computer literacy and application of modern technology in imparting education.
vi. A minimum of 15 years of proven experience in the academic/academic management field out of which 5 years must have been in a senior management position at a well-known educational institution, specially in the Primary Section,
vii. Should have a pleasant but imposing personality/be essentially a disciplinarian but motivator of students and teachers.
viii. Leadership potential with the ability to become an academic icon for his / her team members.
ix. Well versed in rules, regulations of education departments and the British Council and the ability to liaise with them.
