CHIEF TECHNOLOGY - Lahore Stock Exchange - Lahore
LAHORE STOCK EXCHANGE (GUARANTEE) LIMITED
Lahore Stock Exchange is the first automated stock exchange of the country priding its information Technology initiatives and computing facilities it has aggressive plans to expand its IT systems and services across the globe LSE has a dynamic and innovative IT team of approximately 50 personal serving the needs of local and international capital markets.
LSE is seeking a dynamic Chief Technology / information Officer with strong academic and professional record of achievement. This positions reports directly in Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Development of IT plans, strategies and aligning business and IT posts.
* Developing and implementing IT policies and Procedures
* Timely response to requests for information, service, and assistance.
* Evaluating alternate technology solutions.
* Preparing and executing IT budgets.
* Procurement of IT equipment and executing annual maintenance contracts.
* Coordinating with internal departments and external entities like NCCR CDC & SECP
* Managing multiple IT vendors.
SKILLS REQUIRED
* Candidate must have at least a masters degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution.
* 10 years of hands on experience in IT industry with a minimum 5 years experience of IT management in mission critical environment.
* Knowledge and experience of working within the capital markets will be an added advantage.
* Well versed with complex local and wide area network environment.
* Experience of carrying out system operations in mission critical environment.
* Knowledge of developing real-time software systems and software quality assurance.
* Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
* Team building and employee motivation skills
* Prompt decision making and negotiation skills.
