DIRECTOR NORTHERN REGION - ICMAP - Islamabad
SITUATIONS VACANT
ICMAP has been contributing to the national economy by providing Strategic Leaders. The Institute offers quality education throughout Pakistan with a sizeable strength of over 23,000 students. It has a membership base of more than 3200 Cost and Management Accountants serving locally as well as globally.
Being member of International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA) and South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), ICMAP has been serving for more than five decades as an active member of International Accounting fraternity.
The Institute is currently looking for committed, dedicated, dynamic and self-motivated Officers with a passion to excel. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for the positions mentioned below. Details of positions, qualification, experience and other requirements are as under:
REGIONAL OFFICE, ISLAMABAD
POSITION
DIRECTOR NORTHERN REGION (Islamabad - based)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The incumbent should be FCMA or equivalent or Ph. D (in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law, Computer Science etc.) with 8 years' relevant experience OR Master degree i.e., MBA/M.Com/ MS with minimum 10 years' relevant experience.
The candidate would supervise the Northern Region. S/he should have experience of educational institute's administration i.e. handling of admission of new students, supervision & management of faculty and teaching facilities, overall discipline of the students, conduction of examination, marketing for improving the intake of students, liaison with industrial/commercial/financial institutions both in public and private sectors, organization of internship of students and placement of members, organization of seminars & conferences. Be able to conduct departmental meetings, resolve issues and prepare work targets and reports that demonstrate the performance of departments/employees, establish workforce practice driven by developing staff and reinforcing staff growth in core competencies.
The candidate should be dynamic and confident with excellent interpersonal communication skills. The applicant must be self-motivated and trustworthy and able to handle work pressure.
POSITION
DY. DIRECTOR EXAMINATION (Karachi - based)
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
ACMA/FCMA with 4 years experience, FCMA would be preferred. The candidate should have natural flair for research, paper setting, moderation, assessment of answer scripts and professional development preferably with teaching experience at tertiary level. The incumbent should be below 55 years of age possessing analytical writing skills as well as creative thinking and must have passion knowledge about application based testing in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting & Financial Management.
ICMAP has extensive IT. environment. Candidates are expected to have proficiency in using MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and Power Point). A rewarding career full of opportunities awaits the right candidates.
