THE JOB in view of the fact that it is a large and highly technical project, we are looking for a senior, responsible professional who has hands-on experience in all aspects of financial management and control. FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
THE JOB in view of the fact that it is a large and highly technical project, we are looking for a senior, responsible professional who has hands-on experience in all aspects of financial management and control. This will not only include the day to day supervision but assessment and evaluation of the projected costs and their control. Thorough knowledge and experience of computerized accounting, audit, taxation, budgets, forecasts and general management of the finance department is necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
Chartered Accountant
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 15-20 years post qualification experience, preferably with petroleum or petrochemical industry of a large size. Should also be exceptionally competent in management with good interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with senior management.
AGE
Between 40 - 50 years.
PROJECT MANAGER
THE JOB Responsible for project execution throughout the life of the project. His task will be to ensure that the project is executed at a high quality level within the established budget and time schedule. He will be expected to operate at top management level through various project phases. His duties will cover the following:
* Day-to-day management of all project activities from inception through commissioning, development and maintenance of project specifications, and management of EPC contractors, sub-contractors & licensors.
* Overall control of project cost & schedule and monitoring of cash flow requirements.
* Planning & implementation of quality assurance/ quality control.
* Management of project purchases, expedition including third party inspection.
* Overall project management and coordination including overall project progress reports, cost reports, budgets and compliance to the contract.
* Lead the members of the project team to ensure there are no gaps or overlaps in the areas of responsibility of its members as the project progresses.
QUALIFICATION
M.Sc. (Engg), B.Sc. (Engg) from a reputable foreign university will be preferred.
EXPERIENCE
20-25 years experience in petroleum or petrochemical industry with at least 5 years experience of managing international EPC contractors.
AGE
45 - 50 years.
