Tethyan is a joint venture entity equally owned by Antofagasta of Chile and Barrick Gold of Canada, the combination which brings world class experience in developing large mining projects in challenging locations. The company is offering the following opportunities to individuals willing to be part of a significant project that wilt benefit Balochistan and Pakistan:

SITE ACCOUNTANT - (ON SITE)
The candidate should have CA/CPA/CMA Qualification, with minimum 3 years relevant experience. This position is based in Balochistan and the candidate with the Balochistan domicile is preferable. Should possess a sound understanding of project cost accounting and reporting, verifying invoices against contracts/purchase orders, fixed asset and inventory accounting and internal control. Must be willing to work at site under harsh weather condition.

HSE OFFICER - (ON SITE)
The candidate should have BSC Engineering qualification, with around 8 to 10 years of experience. Must be conversant with local and international HSE laws, regulations and norms. Must be willing to work at site under harsh weather condition. Should possess good communication skills.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
The candidate should have CA/CPA qualification, CMA, MBA preferred with 5-7 years experience in medium to large company in operations and / or development. Multinational experience is desirable. Will be responsible for Corporate Accounting and Compliance functions.

MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
The candidate should have CA/CPA/CMA/MBA Finance Qualification, with minimum 3 years relevant experience. This position is based in Islamabad. The position reports to the Senior Accountant. Should possess a sound understanding of Management accounting and reporting activities of the company.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER
The candidate should have a CA Inter/B.Com, with minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. This position is based in Islamabad, will be responsible for payment of invoices, withholding tax payments/filling and account reconciliations.
