Pakistan Gems and Jewellery Development Company has been established as Public / Private Partnership to Develop the Value Chain from Mine to Market. The Company aims to enhance the Exports through facilitation, technology upgradation, skill development, and Marketing / Branding.

MANAGER INTERNAL AUDIT & CORPORATE AFFAIRS
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
* Candidates should be Professional Qualified Accountants with membership of recognized professional body(ies). Membership of the Institute of Internal Auditors will be a distinct advantage.

* Have relevant experience of around 10 years (at least 5 years experience of Corporate Affairs) in a large public autonomous body / entity or a company registered with SECP.

* Have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision, a self starter, initiator, proactive and with excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills having an IT background and extensive knowledge of process and internal control in a large industrial company/organization.

* Should be very numerate, accurate, detail-oriented, flexible and creative in issues and opportunities management, having strong administrative and result oriented skills.

* Should have adequate knowledge of company, corporate and other related laws.

THE INCUMBENT SHOULD BE ABLE TO DISCHARGE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Functions would include all matters relating to organizing and managing Board meetings, Board matters and related statutory and reporting requirements including communications and protocol.

* The Candidate will be responsible for providing value added audit services covering all the operational /functional processes of the company, ensure compliance of relevant legal / regulatory requirements.

* The Accounts Department also liaises with External Auditors and Government Auditors. He / She will be responsible to develop and submit an annual audit plan to the Finance and Audit Committee for review and approval and keep them informed of emerging trends and best practices in internal auditing.

* He / She will also be responsible for establishing written policies and procedures for Finance Department.
