CHIEF PERSONNEL OFFICER
The company is looking for a seasoned professional with proven background of handling HR functions with special emphasis on organizational development and compensation & benefits activities in a large organisation preferably in oil and gas exploration and production sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Conduct annual remuneration surveys of comparable benchmark companies and propose improvements in remuneration package.
* Initiate and follow through annual Performance Management exercises and organizational change initiative in line with corporate HR policy.
* Coordinate strategic manpower planning exercise.
* Keep abreast of developments in personnel related laws, practices and wage policies followed in the industry and recommend strategies to retain talent.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS (QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS):
* Master’s degree from an accredited university in a field related to Human Resource Management such as Business Administration, Public Administration or Psychology.
* Minimum 15 years multifaceted work experience in HR function of a large local / multinational organisation.
* Hands on exposure in successfully implementing major organisatinal change initiatives and work simplification processes.
* Ability to take timely actions to resolve HR issues amicably with minimum guidance.
* Confident, mature, team player with strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Preferred age below 45 years.
