DIRECTOR FINANCE-SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE-Islamabad
CAREER OPPORTUNITY
DIRECTOR FINANCE
In its ongoing endeavor to provide effective services, SECP is seeking to attract high caliber professionals to take up and achieve its objectives. This initiative is aimed at consolidating SECP's presence to further enhance its effectiveness for playing a proactive role in interfacing with key market players, intermediaries and other stakeholders to improve the regulatory regimes applicable to various market constituents.
Towards this end, SECP is seeking to attract high caliber professionals for the position of Director Finance. The position is part of the management team responsible for delivering SECP mandate and achieving its vision and will be responsible for all accounting matters and MIS reporting, preparation of budgets & exercising budgetary controls, preparation of periodic accounts, management of funds and ensuring adherence to internal controls & procedures.
The person we are looking for will have the following profile:
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Chartered Accountant with not less than 4 years of post qualification experience in similar capacity in a reputable company, or a Financial institution, familiar with international best business practices, updated financial reporting standards & relevant requirements.
PERSONAL PROFILE
A dynamic forward-looking personality with excellent team building abilities, interpersonal skills and positive attitude, who likes challenges.
TERMS OF REFERENCE
* Day to day supervision and guidance of Finance & Accounts department for efficient & effective performance of tasks assigned to the personnel of this function.
* Assist Executive Director in formulating financial policies & procedures.
* Ensure that the Management Information reports are generated timely.
* Preparation of annual budgets and coordination with operational departments for budgeting exercise.
* Preparation and submission of audited annual financial statements within defined time frame and presenting the same to the Commission.
* Coordination with external & internal auditors.
* Liaison with Banks.
