Mercy Corps is seeking applications from potential candidates for the following posts to implement TB component of The Global Fund (Round 6) Project:

REGIONAL COORDINATOR (01 POSITION) HYDERABAD
Position Description: MBBS with 05 years relevant experience; fluency in written and spoken English, Urdu & local languages; excellent computer skills. Knowledge of customs and traditions of the area. At least 03 years experience of working with community-based public health programs; experience in BCC activities. Responsibilities: Facilitate and coordinate with, Tertiary Care Hospitals and District Health Authorities to implement the Project in accordance with National TB Control guidelines. Implement Project through PTP(s) including trainings of Chest specialists, Pediatriticians, Medical Officers, Paramedics, Lab Technicians. Facilitate and support District TB Coordinator, and jointly carry out supervisory visits to health facilities and communities; review the TB data. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports & coordinate with ACSM coordinator.

ADMIN & FINANCE ASSISTANT (01 POSITION) HYDERABAD
Position Description: B,A or equivalent with 2 years experience of working in admin and finance; preferably in NGO sector. Fluency in written and spoken Urdu, English and local languages. Knowledge of MS Office and Excel. Responsibilities: Prepare vouchers & financial. Coordinate with the admin/finance for the transfer of staff salaries, stationery items, and non-medical items. Coordinate with HR for related issues. Assist in organizing training & prepare monthly expenditure reports. Perform all Admin & Finance related activities.

LAB TECHNICIANS (01 POSITION) LARKANA
Position Description: One year laboratory course/ One year dispenser diploma. Good knowledge of recording and reporting. Fluency of spoken Urdu, English and local languages. Knowledge of MS Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate with, and facilitate the staff of district laboratories for EQA. Provide on-site technical support and ensure EQA procedures are properly performed/ implemented. Carry out regular field visits to provide on-job training, collect & report data to Regional Coordinator. Ensure timely reports & avoid stock-outs in labs.
Keep records of all activities undertaken in the district diagnostic centers and Intermediate District Labs.

FIELD OFFICER-TERTIARY CARE (04 POSITIONS) HYDERABAD, NAWABSHAH, SUKKHAR, LARKANA
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
One year laboratory course/ One Year Dispenser diploma. Good knowledge of reporting.
Fluency of spoken Urdu, English and local languages. Knowledge of MS Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to facilitate TB DOTS activities & ensure recording & reporting formats are properly filled. Provide on job assistance to the diagnostic centers staff. Collect data and produce reports on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Keep records of all reports & Identify gaps/ deficiencies of TB DOTS activities.

COMMUNITY MOBILIZER (2 POSITIONS) SUKKHAR
POSITIONS DESCRIPTION:
BA with social sciences. Fluency in written and spoken English, Urdu and local languages.

Knowledge of MS Office. At least 02 years experience of working with community-based programs. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure maximum population coverage for TB DOTS including TB / HIV co-infection awareness messages in the district. Establish NGOs/CBOs coalition & establish community groups. Responsible for implementation, dissemination of informational materials, including audio/visual aids & responsible for participatory monitoring and evaluation methods. Evaluate the population coverage through rapid appraisals in the respective district
