INSURANCE DIVISIONIn its ongoing endeavor to provide effective services, SECP is seeking to attract high caliber professionals to take up and achieve its objectives. This initiative is aimed at consolidating SECP's presence to further enhance its effectiveness for playing a proactive role in interfacing with key market players, intermediaries and other stakeholders to improve the regulatory regimes applicable to various market constituents.
Towards this end, SECP is seeking to attract high caliber professionals to take up & achieve its objectives. The Insurance Division supervises, regulates and develops insurance sector in Pakistan comprising 5 life insurance companies, 53 general insurance companies and two Takaful companies
The persons required by the SECP for the Posts given below would be a part of the management team responsible for discharging SECP mandate and achieving its vision.
The persons we are looking for should have the following profiles.
DIRECTOR - NON LIFE INSURANCE* Fellow of Chartered Insurance Institute /Casualty Actuarial Society, USA, (no-post qualification experience required) or Associate of Chartered Insurance Institute or Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan or Masters in Insurance/Actuarial Sciences or related discipline from a reputed institution.
* At least 8 years of progressive experience at senior management level in the field of Insurance /Risk Management/Financial Analysis, preferably as Head of Finance or Underwriting/Claims department of a reputed company.
JUNIOR EXECUTIVES - NON LIFE INSURANCE* 100 credits of Chartered Insurance Institute UK, 02 Courses of Casualty Actuarial Society or fresh Masters Degree holders in Insurance/Actuarial Sciences or related disciplines from a reputed institution.
JOINT DIRECTOR - INSPECTIONS* The individual should be an ACA, ACMA or ACCA.
* At least 5 years of progressive experience in the field of Insurance /Risk Management/Financial Analysis.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - INSPECTIONS* The individual should be an ACA, ACMA or ACCA.
* At least 2 years of progressive experience in the field of Insurance/Risk Management /Financial Analysis
Candidates for all positions must be comfortable working in an automated work environment and should have good communication and analytical skills with a positive and proactive team working approach. High level of proficiency on MS Office is essential.
