FUND MANAGERS-FINANCIAL ANALYSTS-ARIF HABIB INVESTMENT-Karachi
PAKISTAN PRIVATE EQUITY MANAGEMENT LIMITED

The positions below are based in Pakistan Private Equity Management Limited, a venture capital company, which is launching a major fund to invest in this exciting area.
FUND MANAGERS / PRINCIPALS
Fund Managers are required to manage the private equity investment process including due diligence and valuation / feasibility of proposed investment, structuring, preparation of investment recommendations and follow-up. This is a senior level position and requires at least 4 years of due-diligence, valuation or feasibility experience. The candidate should have spent at least 4 years in investment banking, transaction support, business development or private equity investment in a reputable organization. Preference will be given to persons having industry and financial services experience or international experience in private equity, venture capital or related field.
FUND MANAGERS / PRINCIPALS – REAL ESTATE
Fund Managers are required to manage the real estate development process including due diligence, evaluation, structuring, preparation of investment recommendations and follow-up. This is a senior level position and requires at least 2 years of real estate based experience. Preference will be given to persons having real estate and financial services experience or international experience in real estate or related field.
INVESTMENT ANALYSTS / ASSOCIATES
Investment Analysts will be expected to conduct sectoral research, due-diligence, valuations and feasibility studies under guidance of the fund Managers. They should have related Masters level degree (MBA, MPS, etc) or professional qualification (CA, ICMA, CFA, etc.) with at least one year of experience of conducting valuations with a major securities or investment banking firm or of conducting feasibility studies and due diligence in the transaction support division of a major accounting or consulting firm. Candidates should have a firm knowledge of constructing financial models and / or conducting due diligence. Preference will be given to persons having fully or partially completed CFA or having international education or work experience.
VICE PRESIDENT / SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING
This is a key position in Management information Systems with responsibility for collecting and analyzing informational form investee companies. The candidate should be CA, ACCA, CFA, ICMA or an MBA with Finance specialization with experience of at least 5 years in budgeting and management accounting preferably with a multinational.
FINANCIAL ANALYSTS / SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYSTS
Financial Analysts will the VP Management Accounting to collect and analyze data from investee companies. The candidates should be MBA, CA, CPA or ICMA with at least two years of experience in management accounting and budgeting with a major group of companies or a multinational.
ADVISORY POSITIONS – MEMBERS ADVISORY BOARD
Advisory Board Member would be senior executives who are free to contribute their names to our management company and have time to spend at least two days every half year with the private equity management team. Advisory Board Members are sought who have quality senior level growth / turnaround management experience in Pakistan, senior international experience in private equity / venture capital / investment banking especially in the region or who have sector specific expertise relevant to Pakistan.
EXECUTIVE SECRETARY
The Executive Secretary will work with the investment Group to maintain files and mange schedules and contacts of the investment personnel. He or she should be a highly experienced person used to working with senior executives.
All positions are based in Karachi and carry market, based compensation plus benefits. The company has a board approved profit sharing plan with direct sharing in income fro senior positions and a bonus pool directly tied to income for junior positions.
