MANAGER TECHNICAL SERVICES

We are well-established petroleum company engaged in downstream energy sector projects with multinational joint venture partners. In connection with the ongoing business requirements, we are looking for a dynamic professional for the position of Manager Technical Services to be based in Karachi.

PROFILE:
The selected candidates will supervise existing operations and maintenance functions providing technical, business development and commercial support to the top management.

* Develop new business opportunities and prepare scoping studies for oil & gas pipelines, storages and terminal projects.

* Interact with customer and business partners on all technical and commercial matters

* Ensure that quality system requirements are effectively implemented in all areas of operations.

* Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, applicable to petroleum / energy sector.

* Optimize existing operations and effectively exercise financial controls.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED
* Bachelors in Engineering (preferably Mechanical). A relevant Masters Degree and / or MBA will be an added advantage.

* 12-15 years of relevant experience in petroleum industry with at least 5 years in managerial capacity.

* Knowledge of plant operations and project management in petrochemicals / oil & gas sector.

* Well-versed in project development issues; involving joint ventures and project financing.

* Self-starter with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.

* Possess proven record of independent handling of medium-large projects from conceptualization to completion.

* Ability to deliver under pressure with strong supervisory and mentoring skills.
* Possess good analytical skills with an aptitude towards HSE and financial management
