MANAGER (HR & IR)
A leading Petrochemical Industry based at Karachi required the services of Manager (HR & IR) having 15-20 years experience preferably in the Petroleum Sector. Those having Law Graduate will be an added advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure optimization and effective utilization of human resource and implement innovative strategies for recruitment, time keeping, payroll and performance management, compensation and skill enhancement.
* Ensure maintenance of adequate personnel records and preparation of personnel related management reports.
* Manage annual targets oriented performance appraisal of employees throughout the organization and undertake periodic review.
* Monitor current cater for future short and long-term manpower requirements and take timely steps to meet the required targets.
* Ensure industrial peace through harmonious and cordial relationship with the workforce and more importantly with Unions and should possess excellent negotiation skills to deliberate and enter into bargained settlements within the mandate given by the Management.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements pertaining to the employees of all categories.
* Should have the capability to formulate, implement and monitor different outsourced Service Contracts.
* Should be responsible to keep liaison with various Government Institutions loke SESSI, EOBI, Labour and Apprenticeship Directorates etc.
* Be able to have close follow-up employees related Court matters pending adjudication in different courts including High Court, NIRC and Labour Court and keep contact with Legal Advisors.
* Oversee all other HR and IR related activities.
