The PNSC Group of companies, as the National Flag. Center, undertakes global shipping operations. It has a turnover of more than Rs. 8, 000 million. It requires. It requires highly motivated and competent individual for the position of:

MANAGER (INSURANCE AND CLAIMS)
Beside claims handling, this position requires you to become involved in loss prevention activity and underwriting support. You should have relevant background in handling all types of marine claims gained within a commercial environment. You will be expected to minimize legal costs, take a proactive and negotiating skills. Overall, the position requires excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to be a team player.

The candidates should be:
* Master Mariner (Class 1-FG) having at least two years sailing experience as Master (Captain) with a law degree or an advanced diploma in insurance with ACII (UK) designation.

* With minimum two years experience in insurance / surveying / law firms handling marine claims / P&I or marine related fields in reputable organization.

* Good in written and oral communication skills.

* Good in written and oral communication skills.

* Computer literate and preferably familiar with MIS environment.

* Age not more than 55 years.

This is a senior management position and carries market based remuneration package. Appointments will be made on 2 years contract (renewable on mutual consent) basis.
